The Buddy Box Program provides food to children facing food insecurity on the weekends, when they do not have access to the breakfast and lunch provided by their schools. Buddy Boxes are filled with kid-friendly, nutritious, nonperishable, individual sized food items that are easy for children to eat or prepare on their own.

Family Mentor Foundation partners with 33 schools in Franklin County to distribute Buddy Boxes to approximately 1,600 children every Friday throughout the school year.
