Team Cohesion student-athletes proudly joined hands with the community to attend The Lindy Infante Foundation's 3rd Annual Fundraiser to honor Lindy's Legacy, leveling the playing field and packing 500 'Sport in A Bag' to donate to local nonprofits for the holidays. In the few years since the Lindy Infante Foundation first opened its doors, they have already been able to make a positive impact in leveling the playing field – helping over 20,000 youth in Central Ohio cover the costs of participation.
Legendary Buckeyes, Katie Smith and Archie Griffin, were Keynote Speakers for the event, an evening centered around Lindy's Legacy and helping connect every child to every opportunity to play.
Known to the world as the only two-time winner of the Heisman Trophy, Griffin is one of a select group of Buckeyes to be named a three-time All-American during his playing days and has served as president and CEO of the OSU Alumni Association, as well as a senior advisor in the Office of Advancement.
Recently inducted into the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame, Katie Smith is a three-time Olympic gold medalist and is one of the most decorated American professional basketball players of all time. She is currently an assistant coach with the Minnesota Lynx and a women’s basketball analyst for ESPN.
Through a programmatic partnership, Cohesion Foundation proudly supports the mission of The Lindy Infante Foundation to help cover the costs of youth athletics no matter the sport and ensure that more children will have access to sports regardless of their zip code!
